The Foyer St-Paul de Bury is a small private residence that can accommodate up to 14 autonomous and semi-autonomous seniors. The Foyer St-Paul is located in an old Victorian house in the village of Bury, 30 minutes from Sherbrooke. The home, certified by the provincial government, is a non-profit organization that celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Managed by a (voluntary) board of directors who ensures that prices are kept as low as possible, it offers comfort and well-being to residents in a family and friendly atmosphere thanks to a team of professionals who oversees the operation 24 hours a day. from home and everyone’s safety. Meals are prepared on site to best meet everyone’s needs and desires. Located in the heart of the village of Bury, the home is an active center of community life that invites the participation of all those who wish. Le Foyer St-Paul est installé dans une ancienne maison victorienne du village de Bury, à 30 minutes de Sherbrooke. Le foyer, certifié par le gouvernement provincial, est un organisme à but non lucratif qui fête cette année ses 50 années d’existence. Géré par un conseil d’administration (bénévole) qui veille à maintenir les tarifs les plus bas possible, il offre confort et bien-être aux résidents dans une atmosphère familiale et conviviale grâce à une équipe de professionnels qui veille 24 h/24 au fonctionnement de la maison et à la sécurité de tous. Les repas sont préparés sur place pour répondre au mieux aux besoins et aux désirs de chacun. Situé au cœur du village de Bury, le foyer est un centre actif de la vie communautaire qui invite la participation de tous ceux qui le souhaitent. Le foyer offre un lieu de vie paisible et sécuritaire pour les personnes âgées, mais aussi un lieu de convalescence et de récupération, par exemple après une intervention chirurgicale ou une maladie grave, ou un lieu d’hébergement pour soulager les familles. Le personnel est anglophone ou bilingue. Par conséquent, les personnes anglophones se sentiront parfaitement à l’aise, et les personnes parlant français goûteront avec un égal plaisir le charme victorien (moderne!) du foyer et de sa communauté. Toutefois, le foyer ne peut recevoir de personnes présentant des troubles du comportement ou étant à risque de fugues.
